There is no rental charge on the bins. You pay per collection at an agreed frequency, and we will happily adjust that frequency mid contract if your volumes change. Because we are so close, adding an extra collection in a busy week is a phone call, not a negotiation.
Pricing is quoted per business, because a florist and a pub produce nothing alike. As a rule the more you separate, the less you pay. General waste is the dearest stream to dispose of, so pulling cardboard and food waste out of it cuts your bill. Our cardboard only policy, running since February 2026, means cardboard goes in its own bin and is hand sorted and 100% recycled at our Bourne depot, ten minutes from your door.

You must use a licensed waste carrier, and you must hold duty of care documentation showing where your waste went. Trade waste in household bins or carted to the household tip is a breach, and councils do pursue it. We provide your duty of care certificate free as part of the service.
Recycling rules also changed in March 2025. Workplaces in England now need to keep food waste, paper and card, and dry recyclables separate from general waste. A lot of smaller Deepings businesses have not caught up yet, mostly because nobody told them. The fix is just separate bins, and as above it usually trims the bill. Everything we collect in the Deepings goes to our registered waste transfer station in Bourne. Waste is hand sorted, recyclables recovered, and across the business up to 99.9% is diverted from landfill, with the residue going to RDF and SRF rather than into the ground. We are ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified and FORS accredited.
The short haul matters in practical ways. Less lorry time per collection keeps our Deepings pricing sharp. Fewer road miles per bin cuts the carbon attached to your waste, which is a number some customers now have to report. And if there is ever a problem with a collection, the depot that fixes it is ten minutes away, not fifty.
