Access. You need 11ft of clear width for the lorry to get in, free of low branches and power lines. On Grantham’s older streets this is worth measuring rather than guessing.
Reach. The arm extends 6 metres and can lift material over a wall or fence of roughly 10ft, as long as the lorry can pull up alongside. So a soil heap behind your garden wall is usually fine if the lorry can park next to it.
Payment. Card or BACS at the point of hire. We do not take cash on arrival.
Our operators are trained and certified, and they have loaded thousands of these jobs. If access is tight they will usually find a way, and if they cannot, they will tell you before anything is charged rather than after.
Every grab load we collect in Grantham comes back to our registered waste transfer station in Bourne.
